Annual Grants from Saint John's Cathedral

The Grants Committee of Saint John's Cathedral has been charged by the Vestry to make grants with Cathedral funds to charitable organizations to further the mission and ministry of Saint John's Cathedral - to know Christ and make Christ known. Grants are in accordance with the priorities set by the Faith in Action ministry—to address issues of housing and homelessness, hunger and food insecurity, and to assist refugees and immigrants. 

Grant proposals should be made using the Colorado Common Grant Application for annual grants. The Grants Committee will accept grant proposals through October 15, 2018.  Completed grant applications should be submitted electronically to sent via email to

Grants will be made by December 31, 2018. In addition to the CCGA, the Grants Committee also asks that applicants answer the following questions: 

  • How does your organization’s mission and this grant align with the priorities of the Faith in Action Commission and the mission and ministry of Saint John’s Cathedral? 
  • Is there an opportunity for an on-going relationship between the organization and SJC? 
  • If so, please describe. Has St. John’s funded your organization before? If so, for what, how much and what year(s)? 
  • Please include a cover letter stating the amount you are requesting and how the funds you are requesting will be used.
