Kim oversees the work of the Christian Education Department at all levels, from nursery through adult. She is a National Godly Play Trainer.

Greg works with our Stewardship Commission, and manages our annual pledge, major gifts and legacy giving campaigns. He also works with our Abrahamic Initiative, an interfaith program of dialog between Christians, Muslims and Jews. Along with the clergy, Greg is a member of the Cathedral Chapter.

Stewardship Office

Stewardship is a word we use to describe how we live our lives and use the gifts God has given us. Much of the specific work of the stewardship office is development and fund raising.

Music Department

Our Music Department provides music for our worship services and liturgies. It trains our choirs - adult, youth and children in sacred music. It also provides and promotes concerts at the Cathedral.

Richard works part-time and assists Stephen in the work of the Music Department. He conducts and accompanies the choir.

Stephen oversees all the work of the Music Department and is the principal conductor of the choir. He is also a part of our liturgy planning group.

Kris keeps the Cathedral calendar and receives booking inquiries for meetings and events. She oversees the sextons, and manages room set-ups. She also manages our parish membership and accounting software, and develops our IT operations.

The Dean provides vision and inspiration for the Cathedral. He leads the Vestry and oversees the staff.

Christian Education Department

Our Christian Education Department promotes the faith formation of all members of our congregation by offering classes and events for all ages. We are committed to including children and youth in all aspects of Cathedral life.

Communications

Our Communications Department manages communications with various communities using written and electronic media as well as other tools.

Sharon works with the media to promote Saint John's and draw audiences to the many events held at the cathedral. She oversees The Open Door newsletter, the Sunday Announcements,the weekly E-letter, the website which is sjcathedral.org, as well as special publications for particular events. She is the staff photographer for the Cathedral.

David oversees the maintenance of the buildings and maintains our landscaping. He undertakes repairs and liaises with contractors. In the wintertime David ensures that our sidewalks and entrances are cleared of snow.

Our sextons provide custodial care for the Cathedral and other buildings. They open the buildings in the morning and close them at night, set up our spaces for programs and activities, and ensure the whole facility is clean.
