Holy Baptism

Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ's Body the Church.

We love to baptize babies at the Cathedral. When you have your baby baptized, you will be invited to a Saturday morning session of preparation. We will share our hopes and dreams for our children, learn about the sacrament of Holy Baptism, and go over the service to help everyone feel comfortable on the big day (Where to stand? When to sit?).

And we will explore the many ways that you can become part of this community and fulfill the promises you will make at your baby's baptism. It is the beginning of a lifelong, wonder-filled journey.
