Driving Directions to Saint John’s Cathedral
The Cathedral is located 5 blocks east of the Colorado State Capitol, in the Capitol Hill Neighborhood.
It covers an entire block that is bordered by:
South side: 13th Avenue
North side: 14th Avenue
East side: Clarkson Street
West side: Washington Street
From the North (Arvada - Westminster – Boulder)
Travel south on I–25. Turn right at the Speer Blvd. South exit.
Proceed on Speer Blvd. to Colfax Avenue. Turn left onto Colfax.
Proceed eastbound until Washington Street.
Turn right onto Washington Street and proceed 1 block south.
From the South (Centennial – Littleton - Highlands Ranch)
Travel northbound on I-25 to Colfax Avenue.
Turn right onto Colfax Avenue. Proceed eastbound until Washington Street.
Turn right onto Washington Street and proceed 1 block south.
From the East (Aurora)
Travel on I-70 westbound to Colorado Blvd. exit.
Proceed left (southbound) on Colorado Blvd. to Colfax Avenue.
Turn right onto Colfax Avenue. Proceed westbound until Washington Street.
Turn left onto Washington Street and proceed 1 block south.
From the West (Golden – Lakewood)
Travel east on I-70 to I-25.
Travel south on I–25. Turn right at the Speer Blvd. South exit.
Proceed on Speer Blvd. to Colfax Avenue. Turn left onto Colfax.
Proceed eastbound until Washington Street.
Turn right onto Washington Street and proceed 1 block south.

Travel east on the 6th Avenue Parkway to Clarkson Street.
Turn left onto Clarkson Street and proceed 8 blocks north.
Parking is available at the Cathedral’s large north parking lot (behind Argonaut Liquors. Enter on Clarkson or Washington Streets), and the Morey Middle School Playground (enter on 13th Avenue between Emerson and Clarkson Street). A limited amount of parking is available in the small Cathedral lot (enter on Washington Street between 14th and 13th Avenues). Street parking is also available.
