Saint John's Cathedral Choir School
For children and youth, our choir program provides instruction in the basics of music theory, performance and history. There are significant opportunities for meeting challenges in a loving, team-oriented environment, and the privilege and responsibility of leading God's praises in public worship. Through a structured program affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music in America, our singers learn to appreciate the value of achieving short- and long-range goals both individually and collectively. They sing some of the greatest pieces of sacred music ever written, and receive early opportunities for social interaction within the parish and the broader church. Those who achieve higher levels in the RSCM music study program also receive a stipend for their services in the choir.
